To All Golfing Members,

 

A meeting was held today at the Windsor Golf club between Windsor RSL and Green by Nature management teams.

After a lengthy discussion around the weather forecast for this week which shows rainfall this coming Wednesday and to help further give the course the best possible chance of long term recovery unfortunately the course will not reopen until Monday 22nd April 2024. 

On a brighter note Jeff and the Green by Nature team have been busily attending to the greens that were affected in the recent flooding and they are happy to report that no greens were lost during this unfortunate event. Fairways and tee areas are currently being dragged and brushed and are recovering well.

The Windsor RSL and Golf club management also wish to acknowledge the long list of volunteers from our golfing members who have been busily removing and tending to debris over recent days that has been left behind by the flood waters.

Once again thank you for your understanding during this course closure period and we look to see you all back on the course from Monday 22nd.
